Munich train stations reopen after "unsubstantiated" bomb threats - VIDEO
Authorities in Germany shut down two train stations in Munich an hour before midnight last night after what police said was a tip-off about an imminent bomb attack from the intelligence service of a friendly country.
Munich’s central station and Pasing station reopened hours later after the tip off could not be substantiated.

The city’s police chief Hubertus Andrae said: “It was a concrete tip about a group of five to seven people. It came via the federal authorities of a (another country’s) secret service to Munich’s police.”

The action by Germany added to jitters in many cities as Europe ushered in the new year with beefed up security after several attacks last year.
